For those customers who are experiencing problems adding items to their shopping cart or locating items in the various search fields - this is just a reminder that the Cashs of Ireland website requires the use of cookies and 'javascript' for various applications.

Please ensure that your ‘cookies’ facility as well as 'javascript' for your computer’s web browser are both enabled and then repeat the operation you were having difficulty performing.

If you are still having problems please locate the nature of your problem in the following help list. If you cannot locate your specific problem in the help list please contact us at mail@cashs.com and we will attempt to answer your query as quickly as possible.

Q: How do I find specific items in your store?

A: From the Homepage you will be presented with a number of major categories – mainly based upon the supplier (ie. Waterford, Hummel, etc.) or product type. If the type of product you are searching for is not readily apparent, it is most likely in our General Gifts section. However, it is not always possible to stock every item that our customers may be looking for. If you cannot locate the product you are searching for simply contact us at mail@cashs.com with details of the product and we will advise you of its availability.

An alternative to the main categories is to use the various Search options. Their use is explained below.

Q: How do your Search Options work?

A: Cashs of Ireland’s website is designed to be as user friendly as possible. If you are looking for a product from our current catalog and you know the product number you may enter that number into the Search field and press Go. The product’s image will be displayed at that point with an option to add it to your cart should you wish to do so. To see a larger image of the product and a detailed description click on the image of the product. You will also be given another chance to add this product to your shopping cart if you would like to do so.

If you do not know the product number for a particular item you may alternatively enter a keyword into the Search field which you think best describes the product in question (ie. "cross", "vase", "pendant", etc.) and press Go. A number of product images will be displayed at this time which match your keyword. At this point you may add none, any or all of the displayed products to your shopping cart or else you can click on any product image to see a larger image and a detailed description of that product.

When you leave the Homepage you will be presented with this Search option again as well as the option to Search By Manufacturer. For your convenience we have listed a number of our most popular manufacturers in a drop down menu. Simply select the manufacturer you interested are in from this menu. All of the products made by this manufacturer that are available on our website will be displayed in a series of thumbnails. You may add none, any or all of the displayed items to your shopping cart or click on the image to view a larger image and a detailed description of that particular product.

Q: How do I use Quick Order?

A: Quick Order is for the customer who wants to shop quickly on the site without browsing. Usually these customers have the catalog with them while they are on the internet or they have written down the product numbers they are interested in before going online.

To use Quick Order simply select this option from the Homepage. You will be presented with six fields to enter product numbers into. You may use any or all of these fields to display from one to six products at a time.

Prior to entering the specific product numbers you will asked to provide the Customer Number that is printed on the mailing label on your catalog. This customer number always starts with the letter "K". If you do not have a catalog but know the products you require you may leave this Customer Number field blank and use the Quick Option feature option regardless. However, this customer number helps us to ensure that your order is processed in a faster and more efficient manner. Thus, it is always best to provide us with the Customer Number if at all possible.

The products you requested will be displayed in a series of thumbnail images and you will be given the option to add none, any or all of these items to your shopping cart. Alternatively you may click on any image to view a larger image and a detailed description of a particular product. You will again be given the option to add this item to your shopping cart if you wish to do so.

Q: How do I use Quick Gift?

A: Quick Gift has been designed with the shopper who needs an item for a particular occasion. Simply select the occasion from the drop down menu and the price range you are interested in spending. All of the products on our website that match your search options will be displayed in a series of thumbnails.

You will be given the option to add none, any or all of these items to your shopping cart. You may also click on any image to view a larger image and a detailed description of a particular product. You will again be given the option to add this item to your shopping cart if you wish to do so.

If you do not wish to specify a particular occasion you may search using the price range only and vice versa. Thus if you are looking for a Valentine’s Day gift for example and you do not select a price range all of the items suitable for Valentine’s Day will be displayed in thumbnail images.

Q: I can’t seem to add items to my shopping cart!

A: If you are unable to add items please ensure that you have ‘cookies’ enabled on your computer’s web browser as this feature will not work without ‘cookies’.

If ‘cookies’ are enabled and you are still having difficulty adding an item to your cart it may be because you are not changing the default quantity of "0" before clicking on Add to Cart.

All of the products that are displayed are set to a default quantity of "0" as there are many instances where more than one product is displayed on a particular page of the website. To add any or all of these products to your shopping cart, simply change all of the default quantities you wish to whatever quantity you require and then click on Add to Cart.

The current quantity of items in your shopping cart is always displayed in the upper right hand corner each page on our website.

To see the items in your shopping cart at any time click View Cart.

Q: How do I delete or change the number of items in my shopping cart?

A: To see the current items in your shopping cart at any time click View Cart.

If you are not happy with your product selections you may change them at this time if you wish. To delete a product simply change to quantity of that item to "0" and press Update Cart. If you wish to add more of an item to your cart simply change the quantity to the desired number and press Update Cart.

Q: I want to buy the same product for delivery to two or more different places?

A: To purchase similar products for delivery to different addresses you must add them as setextte items in your shopping cart. For example select the item, change the quantity required to "1" and press Add to Cart. You will now have one of this item in your cart. Re-select the same item, change the quantity required to "1" and press Add to Cart and you will now have two of this item in your cart, however they will be listed setexttely. You will be given the opportunity to change the shipping addresses on one or both of these items at a later stage.

Q: What do I do when I am finished shopping?

A: When you are finished shopping select Proceed to Checkout. At this time all of the items in your shopping cart will be displayed. You may delete or change quantities of any items at this point or if you do not need to make any further changes press "Proceed". You will then be asked to provide billing and shipping details on you order.

Q: How do I change the shipping address on a particular item?

A: Once you are finished entering your own name and address all of the items in your shopping cart will be displayed with the current shipping address being the same as the billing address. To change the shipping address simply click Change Shipping Address next to the item you need to have delivered to a different address.

You need to do this for each item if the delivery address is different than the billing address.

If the delivery address for all of the items is going to be the same but the address is not the billing address there is an option to change all of the delivery addresses on all of the products simultaneously. This option is located within the text that is displayed beneath the listing of the items in your shopping cart.

Q: How do I add a gift message to a gift item?

A: At this particular time, a gift message feature is not available but one will be shortly. To add the gift message select the option Gift Message located beside the item that is listed with a shipping address. You will then be given the opportunity to add a relatively brief message (up to 80 characters in length).

Q: Will I receive confirmation of my order?

A: Once you have completed the order entry and submitted your credit card details an email confirming your purchase will be sent automatically to you. If you do not receive this email it is most likely because the email address you provided us was not correct. Should this be the case, your order will still be processed however you will not receive the automatic confirmation.

However, from time to time internet transactions are not completed because of technical faults in the transmission of data.

Therefore, if you do not receive a confirmation message within 24 hours contact us at mail@cashs.com with your name, address and details of your order and one of our representatives will contact you as quickly as possible to advise you of the current status of your order.
