The Celtic Ring pattern draws upon the Celtic heritage by creating a design that loops and twists across the surface of the crystal in a repeating, never ending motif. The pattern flows like a folk song on sheet music. The notes are connected through the cuts, resembling the villagers lives of farming and fishing. The Cashs Master Artisans, like ancient stone carvers, use their skill and knowledge to incise this pattern deep into the crystal, opening up reflective facets that sparkle and glisten in the light. To begin this process, each pattern is marked by hand and then lightly scored on diamond tipped wheels. Once satisfied, the Master Cutter then applies more force while smoothly moving the crystal over the cutting edge of the wheel until the required cutting depth is reached. Any hesitation or break in concentration can ruin a piece as the curved cuts in the Celtic Ring pattern must be done in one continous pass. Tradition honoring tradition: A Crystal Artisan paying homage to his Celtic past and bringing to life the textures and patterns of Ireland. Hand made in Waterford, Ireland.
Boatstrand is one of the many beautiful coves found along the Waterford coastline. The extraordinary sights of this place include the spectacular cliffs that stretch for many miles. The area is known as the Copper Coast, so called because of the intensive mining that took place here in the 19th century.
Upright cuts at the top are perfectly reflected towards the bottom. These are separated by a band of angular cross cuts that could be one solid mass or mirrored reflections of its self. This is a simple, peaceful, pattern that captures the spirit of those moments, those still moments, at the lakes edge when time seems to stand still.
Sharp fissured basalt, sparkling sea, and salt spiced air are the inspiration for this fresh new pattern. The design is created by a series of diagonal and horizontal cuts that form the base of the pattern. Keen but pleasing to the touch, it has the quality of the rocky coastline that inspired it. Rising from this are rosette sprays interlaced with finer cuts that merge with clear crystal reminiscent of the sea, churned to surf that assends back to the heavens creating a sparkling unity that can only be matched by sunshine reflecting off the ocean surface.

Inspired by this rugged landscape Martin Croke has sought to capture the contrast between the smooth flowing water and the sharp rocks it surges off. The Falls are represented by a broad band of long upright cuts, bounded on either side by a sharp criss-cross diamond pattern a tumbling rocky backdrop, that reflects the pure mountain light from the continuous splash of the Falls.

The Hawthorne Fairy pattern was inspired by the mystical flora found all over Ireland. The Hawthorne tree is considered a fairy bush in Ireland. This tree is a favorite meeting place for fairies, a belief dating back to the mist of pre-Celtic history. In Spring, when the Hawthorne is in full bloom, the belief is that the fairies are happy! To avoid making fairies angry, no Irish farmer will ever cut the bush down.
